This has been my favorite sock to knit so far. I used Cascade Fixation yarn on US 3 needles. The pattern is a simple ripple stitch of only two rounds. Using a few well-spaced increases and decreses, you create a wonderful ripple fabric.

I am a displaced So. Californian living in Michigan for 10 years. I became disabled with RA and Fibromyalgia last year so I no longer work. I try to fill my days knitting, spinning, reading, and keeping in touch with the numerous Yahoo Groups I belong to. I am an avid liberal and am very much against the war, prejudiced people, anti-environmentalist, and narrow mindedness. I hate the winters here and go into hibernation during them. I love Michigan when the weather is warm and I can go out in the boat and fly fish. I haven't been able to make any friends here so I am pretty lonely. My husband works at the University of Michigan-Flint (32 years), so I am alone 5 days a week.
